THE GUN DOES NOT FIRE

HISTORY

Sub-rifle replica, made of metal and wood, with simulated charge and firing mechanism and removable magazine.

The M1928 automatic submachine gun designed by John Taliaferro Thompson in 1918 was adopted in 1938 by the United States armed forces serving in World War II and later in the Korean War as well as in the early cases of the Vietnam War. It was the favorite of soldiers, criminals, police and civilians for its ergonomics, compact size, reliability, high rate of fire in automatic mode and for its .45 ACP ammunition. He had a straight magazine of 20 rounds or a magazine of 50 to 100 rounds.

It acquired a bad reputation during the time of Prohibition or the dry law in the United States (1920-1933). It normally appeared in the mediums of the time, when it was the gangsters' favorite weapon. He came to earn nicknames like Trench Broom, Trench Sweeper, Chicago Typewriter, Chicago Piano, Chicago Style or The Chopper.

Since then, it has gained popularity among collectors due to its historical significance.

Relive the era of the dry law with this Denix replica of the M1928 submachine gun!
