HISTORY
Among the wide range of short weapons, the C-96 has the honor of bearing the name "classic", also known as the "Broomhandle". It was a semi-automatic pistol made in Germany from 1896 to 1937, created by the great Peter Paul Mauser. This semi-automatic pistol, with more than a century of history, has an extremely functional and practical design that has led it to be recognized as one of the best weapons in the world.
The German army received more than 100,000 units, which it used during the First World War, where short-range fighting in the trenches was abundant. Communist Russia acquired large quantities of C-96s, a weapon that eventually earned the nickname "Bolo-Mauser", the Mauser of the Bolsheviks. When World War II began in 1939, C-96 was still active.
Although no country recognized it as a regulation weapon, it was used in all warlike events in the first half of the 20th century.
This pistol is the base of the Star Wars pistols.
