Product Overview

Reproduction cartridge .45 for agitation, in metal.

The Peacemaker revolver, also known as the Single Action Army (from SAA), was designed by Samuel Colt in 1873 and was made with different barrel lengths: the short version of 4.75 inches, the longer forms, 5, 5 and 7.5 inches, or the imposing "Buntline Special", 12 inches.

BALL GUN 45 USA 1880 CHROME LOT OF 6 PCS

This weapon was initially used by the US military. However, within a few years, most American citizens took one of these guns. The fact that it used ammunition of the same caliber as the Winchester M1873 rifle helped its popularization as a short weapon in the old west of North America in the late 19th century.

Oddly enough, this revolver has received many nicknames. Aside from the mentioned Peacemaker, he is also known as Frontier or Widowmaker, in reference to how easily this revolver left widows to wives of the time.

The film industry mythologized the “peacemaker” in westerns of the 1940s and 1950s, and associated themselves with stars of the big screen like John Wayne and Gary Cooper. So Roosevelt had one with his initials engraved on it and George S. Patton had used two.

Feel the protagonist of a great western with the DENIX reproduction of these cartridges!
